Movie and a Scorpion

Today was so funny… I came home and the twins have really gotten into making wooden dolls. They made dolls to act out scenes from Tangled. Well while Twins were acting out scenes with the dolls and video taping it... Jeanelle starts to scream… Scorpion... Scorpion. Yeah one was walking straight for her. Then next in the video you seemy Sister Heather's hand take a shoe and start beating the ground. Then Jeanelle picks up the video camera and without missing a beat she tell the camera… Now back to our regular scheduled program.
Later Heather told me she was keeping the dead scorpion so she can make a necklace out of it. She is so weird. Lol

2 Week old Vivi

The day after I took my friend Melissa's Picture she had her baby. 2 weeks later (today) I am taking pictures of little Baby Vivianni Lopes. :)

FHE and Little Victories

Mom and Dad came over for FHE. Griff and the twins swam in the pool. Amilynne is staying at here sisters house while Jake is out of town for training. Dad seems to have a little more energy. He has started to use his walker again. Mom told me that he stayed awake the whole time at church. He was very proud of himself.

4 Corners

The day started off late. We went to Steve’s job site to do the 2nd punch list. He thought it would take only 2 hours but of course it took over 4 hours. But I have to say for as long as it took the twins were really good. We walked around taking pictures and they made videos of their favorite parts of the movie Tangled. I think I have had to watch that movie about 2000 times and then they insist on acting parts out. I am starting to think unkindly towards that movie. Lol

By the Take we got to the four corners we only had about 30 min in the park… This was plenty of time. They only have the flags set up and in the middle of the flags is the spot where the four corners meet. Other than that the only thing to do is shop at the little booths of Indian items. Boring.

From there we went to Cortez CO where there was a rodeo. We were a little scared that we were not going to get a hotel room. But we did and it was an awesome hotel. I shared a bed with Jeanelle again and this time I woke up to her grabbing my nose and mouth really hard. I slapped her hand and told her to stop. She looked and me and just laid back down. She does not remember any of this. She was totally sleeping the whole time. Lol

Off we Go

Today when I got off work I went straight home to pack for our trip to Ganado and then to the Four corners. We found a Hotel near Ganado. I shared a bed with Jeanelle… Man that kid is a bed hog. I seriously had to push her over to get off me. lol

Heather read everyone Nat's letter from navy Seals Bootcamp. He said the food is not good. I thought the Navy was supposed to have the best food. Man, if the Navy’s food is bad imagine the slop the Army has. Found out Nat is 2nd Stickman. I think that is one of the guys that hold the flag. We looked it up and everything we read on it said that even though it looks like an easy job it is pretty hard. But it also said a lot of prestige comes with it as well.
The Twins and I played the Wii game “Just Dance” and of course they gave me the Wii remote that does not work. Their was not back to the remote and the batteries fall out. They cheat :)
Guyla called again today. My lovely sister, Heather, volunteered both of us to go out and see her. That should be FUN. But the plot thickens Guyla told Heather that she could be facing few felonies. Something about assulting an officer. Crazy! And yes my Sister volunteered us to go visit our Crazy-Felon Sister that may or may not want to kill us. Great :)

Crazy Day off Work

Today I got woken up by Jeanelle at 5am. My Mom Called my Sister Heather saying my Dad had fallen. This time she was standing by him and he fell on top of her. My Mom got up but could not get my Dad up. So my Mom called Heather crying uncontrollably. So Heather, Jeanelle and I got in the car and headed out to Coolidge. About half way there we got a call from my Mom. One of her home teachers and his wife had come over to helped her get Dad up. But she said Dad was having jerky body movements. The Brother from church said he thought he had a stroke and said he thought they should call 911. So they did and they were there by the time Heather, Jeanelle and I got to the house. The paramedics said all his vitals were fine. Heather asked My Dad if he wanted to go to the VA to get looked at. And My Dad said No. So we then asked him if he wanted to go to dialysis. He said yes so we drove him to the Dialysis center and dropped him off. I think my Mom wanted us to stay with her while he was at Dialysis for the 4 hours. But we still had stuff to get done. Heather had to call Her Ex to see if he could take Griff to the Doctor. We had to drop a check off for Steve somewhere. I had to get some laundry done. So we Dropped Mom off and told her to lay down to get some sleep and we would be back at 11am to pick Dad up at dialysis. On the way back to pick up Dad we got a call from my Mom. She wanted to pick up Dad and then have us take him to the VA. Heather told her no. She told her that he did not want to go to the VA and he had already told her that. Dad is really getting worn out and has started to fall asleep and it is harder and harder to wake him up. He is crying a lot because of the pain he is in. Heather and I both think we should just give him pain pills and keep him comfortable until he goes. But my Mom does not want him to get to comfortable because she thinks he will die on her. Dad told us today that he wanted to die but he did not want to leave Mom because she did not want him to go. There was fight about if it was selfish or not to have Dad suffer longer just because Mom did not want to be alone. Things are just getting worse for him. Today the Dialysis center told him that he should no longer be walking around with a walker. He is just too weak to even stand too long. So now he is in a wheel chair. Let me tell you this was a great day off work.
Also on the way home while driving the running board of Heather's van just fell off. We thought it was a flat tire. But when we got out of the Van to look at it we saw it was the Running board half off so we were dragging it. We could not get the stupid thing totally off or totally back on. So, we (being the crafty and creative thinkers that we are) found some Yarn and tied it up thou the door of the van. One piece of yarn held the whole way home. I was very impressed with our creativity . When we got home Steve was impressed as well. There was very little damage to the Running board.
The Doctors did not think Griff tore anything in his knee but they did say that he had water building in the back of his knee. They did an X-ray and then said he should do physical therapy. I think he is going to get the physical therapy at football with the coaches.

Normal Sunday

Pretty normal Sunday. Went to church and then over to Mom and Dad's for Family Dinner. Played Five crowns and watch a game on TV. Sean came with Bens. Ami and Jake were at Disneyland. Grif was impatient about getting home. He wanted to go to bed early because he had Football practice early on Monday. Even though he can’t do much because he thinks he tore something in his leg. He has to go to the Doctor tomorrow.

Bee Fun

Today was a little dramatic. The Twins and I cleaned the house, planted flowers in the front yard, and went swimming at Ginny and Kevin’s place. After all that was done, the twins wanted to walk to the Tanner family’s house to pick some Apricots.
So to get there you have to:

  1. walk through the lot across from the house.

  2. Then over the canal behind that that lot.

  3. cut though a horse property

  4. then we would be in the Tanner’s backyard.

So we make it to the Tanner’s backyard and it is full of the thick really soft grass filled with clovers. Well apparently Bees like to hang out in this type of grass. On our way across the Tanner’s back yard, Jeanelle got stung by a bee on the bottom of her foot. So she and Sonni screamed and cried for about 10 mins. (Fun Fun) And of course well I stood there trying to calm them both down another bee came buzzing around. Yeah and that really helped me with the calming down. I hate bees. After I got both of the twins to stop freaking out I realized we would have to walk back home though the grass and telling them that was going to be fun. So instead I ended up calling Griff to come pick us up.

Temple Night

Today I met Heather at the Temple for the 5:30pm session. Some lady My sister knew from a while ago was going to the temple for the 1st time. I don’t remember the ladies name but From what Heather said it is nothing short of a Miricle that this lady made it. Later Heather and Steve went to Prescott for a weekend alone. Steve was very excited about a hot tub being in the hotel room. But I don’t know why… After Thursday’s episode at Bens’ apartment I would not touch it with a ten foot pole.

FHE with a little Poo

The family had FHE a little late this week at Bens Apt. We Started a BBQ by the pool. Sean and his older brother Jared came. We were all in the middle of eating and a guy from the apartment complex came over and told us that we needed to leave the pool area. Someone had pooped in the hot tube and the employee had to drain the Hot Tub to chemically treat it. Lol I guess this happens more often than I would have ever thought. This makes me want to never get in a public pool or Hot Tub ever again.
